Dr. Shalom Nanle Dam

Dr. Shalom Nanle Dam is a licensed medical officer who is passionate about preventive healthcare and is interested in not just diagnosing and treating disease, but understanding the cause and course of communicable and no communicable diseases, finding ways to effectively educate the general public, and those at risk of developing such diseases. Since 2022 till date; works as an in-house doctor at Chem Health and Diagnostic Center. From 2021 till 2022; worked in a privately owned hospital under an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, managing diseases specific to women and providing primary care for couples struggling with infertility. From 2020 to 2021; served as a House Officer in Federal Medical Center, Keffi working one-year internship in 4 major departments including Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynecology. He completed his medical school in Odessa National Medical University, Ukraine in June, 2018 Certificates in BLS/ACLS, neonatal resuscitation, childcare and emotional support, principles and approach to telemedicine in tropics, occupational hazard and risk management, amongst others.
